When I turn the volume up it sounds course and raucous. Main complaint is often I can hear the voice at a suitable volume but cannot understand what is being said. Without my hearing aid I feel embarrassed when I am with people as I keep on asking them either to repeat what they said or to speak louder. After getting my phonak life was easier but I wish I had one that fits inside the ear not behind the ear as sometimes when I take off my glasses my hearing aid goes off with my glasses. Phonak make these Hearing Aids for Costco. Model Kirkwood S10. Costco hearing test was professional and produced same results as franchise outlets. Only had them a few weeks, but are wearing often as advised for the brain to adjust. Am hopeful a month or two use will achieve improved results.
